This journey lies at the heart of the 9th Compliance Conference – The Compliance Odyssey: From Obligation to Strategic Maturity, organised by Association of Compliance Officers in Greece (ASCO Greece) in cooperation with Nomiki Bibliothiki, on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 October 2026, at the Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall.

The Conference will focus on the evolution of Compliance: from a function primarily concerned with meeting regulatory requirements to a mature strategic partner to management, actively contributing to decision-making and the creation of long-term organisational value. Through high-level discussions, distinguished speakers, practical insights and real-world case studies, the Conference will highlight the role that Compliance Officers, legal professionals, regulatory authorities, business executives and decision-makers can play in shaping organisations that are more responsible, more resilient and better prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Over the course of this engaging two-day event, we will reflect on the journey Compliance has taken, explore the key milestones that have shaped its evolution, and look ahead to its future. A future defined by continuous regulatory developments, technological disruption, geopolitical uncertainty and rising expectations from society and the marketplace, positioning Compliance as a strategic pillar of sustainable growth, trust and organisational resilience.

The conference is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, the National Transparency Authority (NTA), the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), the SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the International Compliance Association (ICA), the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (HAIC), the Hellenic Investors Association (SED), the Diversity Chapter Greece, and KEAN.
