THE GDPR HANDBOOK

This is an in-depth 14-chapter Ηandbook on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679), the Law Enforcement Directive (2016/680) and their Greek implementing legislation. It is intended to provide public and private bodies with a a holistic overview of the issues at stake together with useful simplified tool for GDPR and LED compliance. Combining a balanced legal, organisational and technical approach, the guide is broken up into topics covering glossary, territorial application, controllers’ and processors’ obligations, cyber-security, international data transfers, lawful basis for processing, data governance, cookies, privacy standards, data breach, role of data protection officer, regulatory reporting, sanctions and fines.
