Quality Assurance Engineer
LexLabs are looking for a Software Tester/ Quality Assurance professional with a proven track record in testing and quality assurance to join our team in our offices in Athens.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet customer requirements. You will take ownership of the design, development, and execution of test plans and cases to thoroughly evaluate new features.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with manual, automated, and performance testing and should be comfortable writing, executing, and documenting scripts.
Your Role:
- Supervise test scenarios and develop detailed test plans and scripts to ensure software meets requirements
- Execute tests to identify potential issues and create detailed reports of the results
- Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand the scope of testing and ensure a high-quality user experience
- Track quality assurance measures and identify areas of improvement
- Consult with software development teams to understand system requirements
- Monitor performance, maintain records of testing activities, and prepare reports
- Generate performance testing tools, reports, and conclusions
- Interpret test results, analyze trends, and recommend solutions
- Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities work as expected after changes or updates to the system
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of manual testing processes, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Experience in QA testing or software testing
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems to ensure comprehensive testing coverage
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience with test management systems
- Knowledge of testing concepts and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple testing projects simultaneously
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with testing tools such as WinAppDriver
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Trello, etc.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
- Experience with tools for performance and load testing
